I always find first posts to be super awkward, but you have to have them I guess. Maybe I should start by telling you a little about myself, after all introductions are often used as ice breakers for a reason.
My name is Lexi and I'm in my thirties (EARLY thirties). I have two beautiful children, 6 year old handsome gentleman Sebastian and my 3 year old princess Delicia (nope, those are not their real names, however they are the names I would have chosen had hubby not felt the need to chime in with his preferences. Feel free to make fun, I couldn't care less what anyone thinks, I love them).
Hubby has been my best friend and Prince Charming for 10 years, a grumpy old man version of Charming, but Charming all the same. We met while I was still in Uni, went on one date and were inseparable ever after.
Oh dear, this is starting to sound like a bad modern fairytale, which it isn't. Like everyone else we have up and down, sometimes a lot of downs, other times it's up, up, up. I think it evens out in the end, although it doesn't always seem like it will.
Hubby is a video game designer, a big, nerdy kid at heart. I'm self-employed, selling various crafty bits while slaving away at my real passion, my writing. In case you were wondering, I writing historical romance, harlequin/mills&boon bodice rippers. Sadly with two young kids there is little chance to research the bodice ripping part, but I muddle through,
I'm hoping this blog will be a place to rage and vent, god knows I need to some times. You probably won't agree with my opinion most of the time, but that's ok discussions are encouraged. Just try to keep it semi polite at least.
